Crossfire is a game of managed risk – if your fireteam overextends and doesn’t get lucky, you’ll get picked apart. The team that splits up into small groups that can overwatch each others’ movement through windows and doors or respond quickly to contact stands a much better chance of success. Chances are you can easily lock down a specific lane – but without a teammate to watch your back, your flank is open to several others.
Assault must maneuver to the objective to arm the bomb, then transition to defending it until it goes off. If the bomb is successfully armed, Defense can disarm for the win. Interactions with the bomb are best done after thinning out the OPFOR for that reason.
