Map of BDX Siege EX

BDX Siege EX is a Battle Drill Exercise in America's Army: Proving Grounds, focused on extraction of a target.

Strategy[edit | edit source]

Siege is an exercise in assaulting and defending in tight CQB, room to room. The objective is simple - assault and secure the Guidon flag, then extract near Assault team's insertion. Defense, however, has several routes and positions to stop this from happening.

Assault's best bet is to concentrate on either a short rush from a single direction, or the long game of luring defense out of their positions and thinning them out. It is easy for defense to get over-extended; if communication and coordination fails, a soldier near extract can provide the last line of defense, intercepting the Guidon in the open before assault crosses the finish line.
